Bound & Infinity Course
The Totnes Association for the Exploration of Consciousness is a new not-for-profit initiative affiliated with the Consciousness Café. Its aim is to offer short courses where people can explore consciousness in more depth than is possible in a one-off talk or meeting. The founding members are John Thornton, Max Velmans, Jim Barlow (all from the Consciousness Café organising committee) and Philip Franses (the co-lead in an at-the-time vibrant Holistic Science course at Schumacher College).
People can also apply to enrol in the first Bound & Infinity course here. The course itself explores colour consciousness through the work of Newton and Goethe, taking place over three consecutive Saturdays and consisting of five sessions:The course will be held at St Mary’s Church Hall (behind 9 High Street) and due to the size of the room the class is limited to 20 participants. We are asking for a minimum donation of £5 per session to cover our costs. Participants will also need to bring an optical prism - which can be purchased online here or from Philip for a further £10.
